Jim Fischer and Gene Faxon pose with members of the Holston Habitat for Humanity during a recent delivery of fire protection/detection equipment for this organization. KASC purchased 50 smoke detectors, 10 carbon monoxide detectors and 10 fire extinguishers for installation in projects scheduled for completion in 2013. For many years, KASC Historian Jack Alvis managed this project for KASC due to his involvement with the habitat program. KASC is proud to continue supporting this effort in honor of Jack’s commitment to safety.
