True or False? • 1. It is best to review the material right after class when it is still fresh in your memory. • 2. It is best to study on your bed. • 3. Organization does not help in completing your homework. • 4. It is important to set up a “study zone” and do your homework at the same place, at the same time. • 5. Studying while on Facebook will help you complete your homework faster and more carefully.
Agenda • Record homework in your agenda • Make sure to bring home ALL THE BOOKS and MATERIALS that you will need to study. • Make sure you know the due dates for all homework and projects.
This Means… • You should try to study at the same time and same place every day. • You should study at a desk or a table. • There should be nothing on your desk or table except what you need for the task you’re on • Make sure there is proper lighting.

Thumbs Up or Down… “Thumbs Up” if you think you should prepare for a project AHEAD of time.“Thumbs Down” if you should do the project the night before.
Manage Your Time • Don’t try to do all your studying the night before your test or project! • Do your project in smaller parts. • Avoid studying for too long at once because your brain cannot hold all the information at once • Take breaks when needed
