  2. PEDIATRIC IMMUNOLOGY AND INFECTIOUSDISEASES Infectious diseases and immunology go hand in hand. A poor immune system leads to more susceptibility towards infectious diseases like sinusitis, pneumonia, abscessesetc. The bacteria normally live on the skin, eyelids, nose, and mouth and in the gut. These bacteria are called normal flora. The normal bacteria in our mouths protect us by decreasing the chance that we will become infected with harmful bacteria and fungi but the normal balance of bacteria can be upset by antibiotics and some illnesses.

Two years old Children are more prone to ear and nose infections because of their undeveloped immune system to fight common viruses andbacteria.

PEDIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH AND PSYCHOLOGY Young people can currently be diagnosed with a mental health disorder because developing a disorder due to risk factors in their biologyorgenetics.Autismspectrumdisorderthatappearsinearly childhoodwhichisseriousdevelopmentaldisorder.TheASDalways affects a child ability to communicate withothers. Autism spectrum disorder is a serious developmental disorderthat appears in early childhood. It usually happen before age 3. The ASD always affects a child’s ability to communicate and interact withothers. Self injury is the act of deliberately harming your own body like cutting or burning yourself. If the Children in a mental health condition they might be attemptsuicide.
