  4. What is an EAB Community Preparedness and Response Plan? • Explains a community’s objective and approaches it will use to meet current or anticipated impact of EAB • A plan that administrators, staff and residents can follow

Why Does A Community Need a Plan? • To determine the actions that must be performed to protect the urban forest • Acting now = Spreading the costs over a larger period of time • Opportunity to think about and coordinate sharing costs • Provides a community with a reasonable and responsible method to respond
