  1. Preparing You Child for the CRCT OAS Practice Tests

  2. Online Assessment System • The Online Assessment System or OAS is a tool that is used by teachers and can be used by parents to prepare students for the CRCT. • The website is www.georgiaoas.org .

  3. OAS Quick Start • You will need you child’s ten digit Georgia Test ID. • The password is student.

  4. Once you log in you will see the student welcome page. There are two types of tests your child can take; student tests or teacher assigned tests

  5. Student tests have subject areas to choose from.

  6. Reading and math are the subjects that are emphasized on the CRCT. • Select the subject area and click take test.

  7. Click next question

  8. At the end of the test, click on grade my test. Click Grade My Test

  9. Click OK

  10. The test results will show how many questions right, how many wrong, percent, and time to complete.

  11. Below the test results is each question with the standard and whether it was right or wrong.

  12. Discuss with your child the answers and why they may have them wrong.

  13. At the bottom of the test results, you can save the results to view later, discard, or click on the school or teacher to view. Click Return Home when completed.

  14. Teacher Assigned Tests • Your child’s teacher may assign a specific test. • To access these tests, click on the middle button on the welcome page; view teacher assigned tests. • Select the assigned test from the test list page and click take test.

  15. Click on view teacher assigned tests.

  16. Click on the test that the teacher assigned. Then click take test.

  17. Complete the teacher assigned test the same way as the student tests.

  18. Teacher assigned test will show the correct answers with a check mark.

  19. Teacher assigned tests will automatically be able to be seen by your child’s teacher. • Student tests can be taken multiple times, but a teacher’s test usually is only taken once unless a teacher reassigns it to your child. • You can view results from student and teacher assigned tests by clicking on viewing the tests, then click “See Results”

  20. When all tests are completed, Logout of the Online Assessment System.

  21. Click on Staff and then Faculty If you would like to use this PowerPoint for reference from home, it will be on my website. You can access it through the Woodstock website.
