Because of tears and punctures, lack of regular aftercare- the rack and pinion can fail. The replacement can be costly.   2. Power steering system of the car has a component named as steering rack and pinion.

  3. Steering rack and pinion are responsible for letting the driver to turn the wheels.

  4. Rotational motion of the wheel gets changed into linear motion to turn the wheels.
