  3. Facts • Between 700-1000 tornados occur every year in the United states. 63 tornadoes once struck Arkansas on one single day. This is the highest number of tornadoes ever recorded in one day. • Dust devils have different names in different places. In different places. In Australia they are know as willy willies. • The most tornadoes in one season happened in 1992 in united states . A total of 1293 tornadoes touched down in that season.

  4. More facts • Did you know that waterspouts travel slowly and appear as dark tubes of water. • Dust devils occur on hot days and do not have the power of a tornadoe

  5. Think about it Tornadoes don’t just affect people they affect animals too. Pets are not allowed in side emergency shelters due to public health and safety reasons. Thinking ahead and making arrangements for your pets in case you are evacuated could save your pets life.

  6. Did you know The Hallam tornado touched down for 100 minutes and destroyed most of the town. One tornado that touched down in the United States in 1977 lasted more then seven hours.
