Stations • Teach math lesson in the station (small group) • Students are grouped based on pretests given before each math unit • Other math stations are grouped heterogeneously • Reading station groups are based on STAR Reading and Acuity assessments • Students read books in their zone of proximal development (ZPD) • Station work is differentiated • Literacy Stations: Reading, Word Work, Writing • Math Stations: Lesson, Project Connection, Spiral Review/FasttMath

  5. Homework • Math homework is differentiated • Reading skill work is beyond 4th grade level • Wordly Wise (continue from 3rd grade) • Weekly reading log (AR)
