EXTERNAL INVESTMENT • Awarded £10,000 from Sport England Small Grants • Funded • 6 x Level 1 and 8 x Level 2 coaches • Brand new court, posts, referee stand, wall-net slider • Volleyballs and ball carts • New sessions • 14-16 years Satellite Club • 16+ Go Spike session • Dudley College student session • Planned new WMVA teams • Awarded £900 from Black Country County Sports Partnership • Funded • A Level 1 coach • Volleyballs • Court hire • Coaching fees • Promotional material • Outcomes • New Go Spike recreational session • 31 new attendees • Averaging over 20 per week • Increased participation and income for the club

  6. FURTHER EDUCATION VOLLEYBALL 8 new colleges delivering weekly volleyball in Black Country ACTIVATORS COURSE 66 students trained as activators across Black Country. They have been introduced to: 6 PARTICIPATION FESTIVALS IN 2014/15 • Coaching • Refereeing • Scoring • Running tournaments • Creating a new club • Recruiting players • Organised and led by activators • Targeted towards recreational level players • 4v4 format with lots of matches • Multiple teams entered from each college
