  3. Earth is the 3rd planet from the sun. It is the 5th largest of the 8 planets. It is the only planet in the entire planet that has a known form of life. 71% of the planet is covered by water/oceans. The Earth orbits the sun every 366.26 days creating the once every four year leap year. Planet Earth contains 1 moon.
