Bilateral Agreement EU/US • Mutual recognition that the US Organic Program and the EU system are equivalent • Geographical scope: Products grown or imported in US/EU (acceptance of each others imports) • Exclusion (complementary certification required that products have not been treated with antibiotics) • Apples and pears from US • Livestock from EU • Not in the scope: • Wine • Aquaculture • It shall apply as from 01.
