MVA 2/3 - Mrs. Varnado’s Class - Week #34 Bo Varnado Retake Math Tests Coming Up: 5/13 Tuesday, Grade 2 Math Ch. 13 5/15 Thursday, Grade 3 Math Unit 9 Retake for all students who have not yet demonstrated mastery by scoring 80% or better on the first free response test, or 85% on the retake with multiple choice questions. Wednesday retake for those not attending Tu/Th.. May 2014 Dear 2/3 Parents I hope that yesterday found you all enjoying Mother’s Day together and I wish all of the moms in our class a belated and very deserved “Happy Mother’s Day”. As we wind up this year, please be sure to stay tuned to the calendar and I apologize for any whole school messages that went home regarding Children’s Night as it really is a Montessori event that does not apply to MVA. We are continuing with our MAP testing and your children have done a great job staying focused and really making an effort to show what they know. I appreciate your efforts to have all students here on assessment days. May 21st our school is hosting a cross country run at Dos Picos Park and I look forward to seeing our runners at that event. We have a jar in class where we are collecting quarters to continue funding our Running Club’s lap tracker system so any quarters you can spare are greatly appreciated. We only have two more weeks in class and book check in and final work log collection is scheduled for May 27th. Our end of the year celebration will be a Failla Villa on May 28th and I will send out more details soon.
