Why • Why did we we develop HAMmer? • Admins spending too much time retrieving emails for others • Retrieval Process of emails was not secure and private • Management of GWAVA was only from outside of the GroupWise Client • No security levels for end users • No Live Digest List • Multiple entries to the White List and multiple users managing the White List create conflicts and unnecessary End User Problems • GW Proxy Accounts must be manually configured and managed
What is it? • What is HAMmer? • Shifts some of the burden from Admins to End Users based on HAMmer Security Roles freeing up Admins time • Allows Admins to Manage White List requests easier and more interactive with End Users • Allows both End Users and Admins to manage GWAVA from within their GroupWise Client • Allows End Users to be managed as Standard or Trusted • Allows Departmental Admins to manage their End Users • Ability to see the Digest List real time and with one button • Ability to manage White Lists from within the Digest List and provide a Master List to not be overwritten • Ability to fully manage all your GW Proxy Accounts
RDA and GWAVA • RDA’s relationship with GWAVA • Working with GWAVA since 2003 • Custom GWAVA solutions and Integrations Services for Customers • March 1st, 2009 a full 5 User version of HAMmer for GWAVA 4 will be included with GWAVA 4 as long as they own GWAVA Maintenance
