  4. PDS4 Information Model Updates Things we need in the PDS4 IM to proceed with migration. Field_Bitcompleted (just PPI?) Delimited Separated Values (DSV) standard (PPI?) Primary result types (action for PPI) Instrument types (action for PPI) Document products Will DDWG be done by 1Q 2013?

  5. Upgrade of Existing Archive • Re-factor archive into data set volumes • Converting from multi-dataset, multiple volume archive to single dataset per volume. • Nearly complete. PVO remains • Upgrade metadata to PDS3.8 • 722 volumes => 493 active data sets • Completed 478, waiting for review 178 • Final data sets (15) • (3) PVO, (2) Mex ASPERA, (7) Galileo [CD-R] • P11 position (3) data are of poor quality.(The kernels are bad and its not clear if or when new kernels maybe generated.)

  6. PDS4 MigrationSoftware • Established PDS4 test server • Installed PDS4 registry and services • Excellent progress – Just not sure how to start populating with local items. • Updated igpp.docgen (velocity based) tool to aid in migration. Software is Go!

  7. PDS4 MigrationMetadata • Positioned to start PDS4 migration. • Need template development. • For PDS3 to PDS4 transform • Need updates to Information Model. • To support all data types. Metadata is Hold. New target 1Q 2013
