  3. Volume of a Rectangular Prism 6 cm 6 cm 10 cm Volume = area of base x height Area of Base = 10x6 = 60cm2 Volume = 60x 6 = 360 cm3

  4. Volume of a Trianglular Prism 4 cm 12 cm 6 cm Volume = Surface Area x (height or length) Dependent on which face it is sitting on Surface Area = ½x6x4 = 12cm2 Volume = 12x 12 = 144 cm3

  5. 8 cm 4 cm 4 cm 4 cm 8 cm Volume of a Hexagonal Prism Volume = Surface Area x (height or length) Dependent on which face it is sitting on Surface Area 1 triangle = ½x4x4=8cm2 6 triangles = 8 x 6 (for 6 triangles =48 cm2 Volume = 48 x 4 = 192 cm3

  6. = (122) = 452.389 cm2 Surface Area = r2 Volume of a Cylinder R = 12 cm Volume = Surface Area x (height or length) Dependent on which face it is sitting on 20 cm Volume = 452.389 x 20 = 9047.787 cm3 = 9048 cm3
