  2. Terms of Reference • This committee advises the secretariat in finding ways to increase the visibility of CANTO among it’s membership and the region and identifying the services they require. • To keep abreast of developments in member countries

Activities since January 2011 • The Re-branding of CANTO • Developed new logo, • New Tagline; Caribbean focus…GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE • The CANTO name; • CANTO Statement; • New logo being launched at this conference – improve perception and value to our members • Revenue generation initiatives • Small exhibition at AGM to entice more members and increase revenue from exhibitors – adding more value • Invite a small number of suppliers to speak at AGM; gives more value to suppliers and increases revenue to CANTO; • Core team members established – Monthly Conference calls

Activities for next 6 months • Focus on adding more value to members • Full members – special focus • Affiliate members • Re-branding exercise – continued to AGM • Focus on more participation at AGM • More Revenue Generation initiatives • Webinars • Build on Brainstorming session • Circulate list of attendees before the conference • What drives vendors to attend the conference – meet operator senior staff; information gathering • Have one session where it’s the exhibition only

  5. Final words… • Monthly conference calls at the same time seems to work well; • Core team members are critical for the productivity of this committee – need to find more ‘core’ members.
