Planning for: Instructionally Focused AccountabilityKnow that you will need to: Make plans to attend the 5 day TAP training in the summer and let your LT know about this requirement. Understand that Year One is a practice year, where you will be trained to evaluate. During the year the LT will be learning the TAP rubrics and participating in practice evaluations to establish team inter-rater reliability.
Planning for:Performance-Based CompensationKnow that you will need to: Determine a master teacher addendum and a mentor teacher addendum.Determine an amount per teacher for the performance-based incentive award. ( Note: your district usually makes this decision.) Remember, performance-based incentives are paid after the second year of TAP implementation, not during the first year.
