Why develop ? • Change in demographics put strain on finances
Grange Park – Future Impact • Decision to develop into a multi sport community facility • £35M or £215M funding pot • Increases impact per £ • Cost sharing / increased income • Engagement with KDR JFC • Kirk Deighton Junior Football Club • Large numbers of young people • Ambitious plans • Clubs had different but complementary skills • Clubs started working together in 2010 • KDR JFC formally became part of Grange Park in 2011

So what has happened so far • £51,000 investment in Grange Park • £12,500 Junior Rugby, £8,500 Football, £30,000 Grants • Revenue contribution from the cricket club • 18 Acres of new land on a long term lease • New Rugby & Football Pitches • New Cricket Pitch in 2012 • New Playground • Parking & Drives • Picnic Area (to come) • Fencing • Increased profile • Planning permission for a new clubhouse “The best playing facilities in the local area”

So how do we get there • £90,000 to be raised • Grants, Wren, Green Leeds, CairdBardon • Value engineering the building • Clubs fund raising • Gift Aid • If all donations are personal target would reduce to £65,000 • Works out about £2,500 per team or £70 per player plus Gift Aid • Classified as regular users (young people only) • Excludes cross fertilisation, between groups
So how can you help • Grange Park Bond • Designed to provide the cash for development ASAP • Loan to Grange Park ( Unsecured) • 4% interest per annum • Capital returned in maximum 4 years with early repayment if possible • £1,000 minimum then multiples of £500 • Permanent record on club honors boards • £20,000 already pledged to this scheme • Classified as regular users (young people only) • Excludes cross fertilisation, between groups

So how can you help • Become a Club Patron • Minimum £100 donation for individuals • Minimum £250 donations for companies • Permanent record on club honours board
So how can you help • Become a Club Ground Sponsor • 30% discount on second board e.g rugby and cricket area • Bespoke boards upon request • Discounts available for existing club sponsors and longer time periods • All year one sponsors to feature on club honours board • Prices include VAT, full print of your artwork on aluminium composite boards and fixing. • Classified as regular users (young people only) • Excludes cross fertilisation, between groups

When do we need it by? • It’s up to you • The sooner we know how we get the money the sooner we can release grants and release the money • There is no Plan B • Your Chairman’s plan • We need some fundraising between now & June • We need a plan with targets for the rest by end of May • We award the contract at the end of June • We start building in August • We have out Xmas parties in the new club house
