Directions for Activity • Divide your paper into 4 boxes and label the categories • Most Serious, • Serious, • Least Serious, • Not a Crime • Write down the “crime” under the box that best fits in your opinion and write a complete sentence explaining why that “crime” is under that category. • Make sure you completely write out the “crime” and explanation because this will be collected and graded as class participation and will be used for your homework assignment!
Robbery • 1. A person with a gun robs a victim of $40.00. No one is hurt.
Drunk Driver • 2. A drunk driver kills a teenager by driving recklessly.
Music Downloading • 3. A teen downloads 20 songs from the Internet and creates a CD.
Drugs • 4. Someone sells crack cocaine to elementary school students to support his elderly mother and father.
