  4. What does my invertebrate eat and how does it get its food? • some cephalopods bite their prey • cephalopods eat crustaceans, snails, and etc. • cephalopods catch prey with their arms • cephalopods use their smell to help them

  5. How does my invertebrate protect itself? • camouflage • hiding den • changing body shape • changing color • looking like rocks, coral, and seaweed • flash bright colors • octopus under sand
