Linear (Constant) Growth Grows by the same amount (constant growth rate) over a certain period of time. Has an equation y=ax+b. Exponential (Proportional) Growth Grows by the same percent (proportioanal growth rate) over a certain period of time. Has an equation y=ab^x Linear and Exponential Growth
