  11. MA Project Proposal V1 • Working Title • How ancient Japanese written forms can directly shape, a non-written form of art. • Aims • How ancient Japanese written forms can directly shape, a non-written form of art in a medium to be decided.

  12. MA Project Proposal V1cont • Objectives • I will continue to actively explore Japanese forms i.e. Haibun, Tanka, Sedoka, Sijo, Kasen, Renku and through a process of analysis of the structure, masters in their form and exploring their heritage.

MA Project Proposal V1cont Rationale • Through a series of visual experiments based on my research, which will lead to developing a particular aesthetic style, form and narrative may lead to a sustained piece of work or a series of short pieces: it is possible that one literary form may be more captivating than others and lead to experimentation in only one form.

  14. MA Project Proposal V1cont Outcomes • The outcomes are yet to be decided because the research is still in its easy stages. • It is however likely that there will be either one or a series of work either all with the same structure or a cross section of the different forms.
