  2. What is ELC? Wolf Ridge is a nationally respected and accredited K-12 school and residential learning center, offering memorable outdoor learning adventures. Activities & programs focus on natural and cultural history, outdoor skills, team-building, and personal growth.

  3. Personal Growth and Team Building Classes Possible Class Choices: • Orienteering • Rock Climbing • Adventure Ropes • Outdoor Survival • Campfire Story Telling • Creative Arts • Volleyball

  4. Academic Classes Possible Class Choices: • Astronomy • Geology • Star Lab • Energy in My Home • Climate Change • Lake Study • Animal Studies

  5. A Typical Day for Students Your students will be busy during their time at ELC! A typical class schedule includes: • 7:30am Breakfast • 8:30am -11:30am Morning Classes • 11:30am-1:15pm Lunch Break • 1:15am -4:15pm Afternoon Classes • 4:15pm-6:15pm Dinner Break and Rest Period • 6:15pm-7:45pm Evening Activity • 8:00pm 9:00pm Naturalist Presentation

  6. Chaperones Anyone interested in chaperoning must request to do so in writing/email to Mr. Gallivan by Monday, September 18th. Mr. Gallivan will be making final chaperone decisions. All chaperones must complete the volunteer procedure. • Compete the Archdiocesan Background Check • Attend a Virtus Session • Sign the Volunteer Code of Conduct *Please see Peggy Kemp for packets **Please email Mr. Gallivan if you are uncertain if you comply. No exceptions to this policy will be made for any reason.

  7. Chaperones • There will be two teachers attending as lead chaperones: Mrs. O’Brien, and Mrs. Barrett. • Parents will be responsible for groups of 5-6 students and report to their assigned faculty member. • We also need at least one chaperone who will drive.

  8. Transportation Students will take a Lorenz coach bus to ELC. October 11th • Students will load at 6:30am and depart at 6:45am October 13th • Students will load at 11:10am and arrive approximately back at school at 4:30pm.

  9. Cost of the Trip Trip Costs: ELC Courses, Lodging and Meals with Transportation: Total Student Cost: $265.00 Chaperone Cost: $135.00 *Payment is due by Friday October 6th
