The Silver Birch The silver birch is a deciduous tree. Its branches droop towards the ground. The flowers of the silver birch grow in the spring. Its small seeds are a favourite food for birds. The Oak Tree It is easy to know that if it is an oak tree or not by the leaf. The oak trees seed is an acorn. Trees help us to breath and they help the earth. A tree is covered in a skin of bark. The Ash Tree The ash tree is a very easy tree to spot it looks like this. The common ash is Ireland’s most common, tallest tree. The Sycamore The sycamore tree grows very fast, and its branches spread out to give it a beautiful large, rounded shape. It is a related tree to the central and southern Europe .
