Number of Establishments - By Industry and Size • Of the 46,961 total employers, 76.7 % (36,040) have fewer than 10 workers and 88.1% have fewer than 20 workers. • Only 760 employers (1.6% of the total) have 100 or more employees. • Forty-six percent of the establishments fall into one of four categories: Retail Trade, Construction, Professional and Technical Services, and Other Services.
