  4. Jesus depends on us to be… • 1. Equipped (Ephesians 4.12) • Christ gave his life to finish the Father’s mission • We are to serve and be directed as God leads

  5. 2. Empowered (Acts 1.8) • When you are saved, you have the • Holy Spirit • When you are baptized (spiritual infilling) in the Holy Spirit, you receive ‘empowerment’ • (Luke 24.49)

  6. Engaged (Acts 11.29-30) There are times we want God to substitute things. There is no conflict without conversion. There is no greater joy than to lead a soul to Jesus.
