  2. 4 girls, 1 pair of pants, and a summer that could change everything! Bridget Vreeland (Bee) Tabitha Rollins (Tibby) Lena Kaligaris Carmen Lowell

  3. Bridget (Bee) Vreeland Everyone knows Bridget, Bee, and she is usually the pretty, confident, sporty girl of the group, but she’s changed! Gone is the bright and bubbly attitude, gone is the beautiful, swoon worthy blonde hair. Bee feels like she has lost herself and after finding hidden letters, she decides that she wants to find herself again, and the place to do it is Burgess, Alabama. Maybe when she starts to understand more about her mother she will finally be able to move on from her death. Nobody would ever be able to recognize her as Bee Vreeland, she can’t even recognize herself! She can use her changed looks as a shield, but soon or later it will come off because whether she likes it or not the show will come to an end. Maybe after the long journey that she has taken to find herself she will be the old Bee again, without regrets.

  4. Carmen Lowell Carmen is certain that this summer the traveling pants are going to be the love pants for her. She has a date with the hottest guy in school on the same day she gets the pants……. Its fate right? Everything will be perfect. And when she gets home from her date her mom will be home to gush over the juicy details…….or not. Carmen’s mom has got a boyfriend and Carmen feels like she is being pushed aside. With her mother acting like a teenager nothing can get worse, but it does. Krista, Carmen’s step-sister, runs away from home and comes to her house. With an already overflowing plate what is Carmen to do? Maybe it’s time to let go……………….

  5. Tabitha (Tibby) Rollins Tibby is the family rebel and she knows what she wants with her life. She is going to spend the summer doing what she loves at Williamston College. Filming is her passion and she can’t wait to show it off. She can ignore her parents lack of affection for there first daughter, but she still feels different. She wants to be noticed and liked, but she doesn’t really know how to make friends. She had known her best friends since birth so she had never had to bother with making friends. Now she is in uncharted land, but she doesn’t know if she likes the feel of it yet. Maybe she shouldn’t try and put other people down to make herself cooler to the friends she wants to have. And then theirs Brian, he’s usually always right, but when Tibby makes a big mistake will she be able to find solace in a true friend? A friend that she has wronged. Maybe college isn’t all its hyped up to be………..

  6. Lena Kaligaris Nobody understands Lena. She broke up with Kostos, yet she still longs to feel his strong arms holding her in a tight embrace. She couldn’t do the long distance thing, it wasn’t working out. She has spent months getting over him, she is over him. She is. She doesn’t care that he brought home a new girl for her grandmothers party. In fact it doesn’t affect her in the slightest. Heck who is she kidding? Not Effie that’s for certain. Effie is determined to get them back to gather when Kostos visits by surprise. Lena can’t let her feelings take control again because she is sure it won’t end well. Yet she can’t help but stare with longing as he chats with Effie, always casting her glances, but keeping the silence. Maybe its time to jump into the deep end, sure she will probably get hurt, but what if its worth the risk?

  7. Rules Of The Traveling Pants Rule #1: You must never wash the Pants. Rule #2: You must never double-cuff the Pants. Its tacky. There will never be a time when this will not be tacky. Rule #3: You must never say the word “phat” while wearing the Pants. You must also never think “ I am fat” while wearing the Pants. Rule #4: You must never let a boy take off the Pants (but you may) Rule #5: You must not pick your nose well wearing the Pants. You may, however, scratch casually at your nostril while really kind of picking. Rule #6: Upon our reunion, you must follow the proper procedures for documenting your time in the Pants. Rule #7: You must write to your Sisters throughout the summer, no matter how much fun you are having without them. Rule #8: You must pass the Pants along to your Sisters according to the specifications set down by the Sisterhood. Failure to comply will result in a severe spanking upon our reunion. Rule #9: You must not wear the Pants with a tucked-in shirt and belt. See Rule #2. Rule #10: Remember: Pants=Love. Love your pals. Love yourself.

  9. To The Sisterhood!!!!!!! When you have lost yourself on the path to life sometimes you realize that acceptance is what gets you through the day! Sometimes you need to delve deeper into your past and go away for awhile, but soon you will realize that its not where you are, it’s who your with! A pair of pants have kept these girls together as they each set off on a fulfilling journey to finding out who they are. Bridget, Lena, Carmen, and Tibby. Four girls split apart, but don’t worry they will always be connected! A pants that works miracles on the lives of these 4 friends, and it those miracles that helps them get through the day!

  10. The Second Summer of the Sisterhood Summary: In this book you jump into the lives of 4 girls from Washington. They are best friends, but last summer they were all going different places and so they found solace in a pair of pants. The Traveling Pants kept them going when they yearned for there friendship! Now it’s the second summer and things sure have changed. Bee is no longer athletic, in fact she is pretty chubby. She sleep more than she’s awake, and it seems like she’s lost the will to live! Tibby is going off to college and she just wants to fit in, but that doesn’t mean pushing an old friend aside! Lena is lovesick for Kostos and she can’t seem to think strait anymore, she wants him back in her heart, but her mind is telling her to let go! And then there’s Carmen. She was the center of her mothers world, then along came David, she cant help but want him gone! Maybe with the Traveling Pants at hand the girls might make it through the summer stronger than before!
