Visual Basic XML API Demo. Marcelo M. Molinari. Very simple windows form to get ADX hostname and addition of web reference. web reference added using .wsdl file from ADX. Reference.vb file needs to be edited. Note: System.Net namespace is required to use WebRequest method.

  2. Very simple windows form to get ADX hostname and addition of web reference web reference added using .wsdl file from ADX

  3. Reference.vb file needs to be edited Note: System.Net namespace is required to use WebRequest method

  4. Method getHostName is invoked from web reference AdcSysInfo SetRequestHeader is used to add http authentication header to request sent to ADX

  5. Authentication shows in HTTP header

  6. SOAP envelope shows getHostName method

  7. SOAP response
