  3. Present tense of –er, and –ir verbs • To form the present tense of –er, and –ir verbs, just drop the endings, and add a new set of endings. Just like the –ar endings. • If the verb ends in – er, add o, es, e, emos, and en. • If the verb ends in – ir, add o, es, e, imos, en.
