BIRTH CERTIFICATE REVISIONS • The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) Sets the Standards For the Certificate of Live Birth • Revisions Occur Approximately Every 10 Years • Some Changes Aimed at Consistency With Census Data • SPDS Will Incorporate Mandated Updates
