What to do • Be in a safe location during tornadoes • Don’t drive • Don’t be near windows • It is better to be in the lowest point of whatever building you are in • This is not always the case if there are too many windows in that location
Keep a radio nearby so you will know where the storm is as well as when it is no longer a threat to you.
Determining the weather by the cloud types • When the weather is pretty we have what we call cumulous clouds which are the clouds that look like giant cotton balls.
Rain producing clouds • Cumulonimbus clouds are the clouds that mean rain or stormy weather
