  2. Description • Smallpox is an infectious disease • It’s been occurring about 10,000BC • Very deadly disease before it’s cure was found, it killed over 500 death in the 20th century

  3. Scientific description • There are 2 forms of smallpox: Variola Major, which is the most deadly and common, and Variola Minor, the weaker one • It’s more common in the face, hand and feet than in the rest of the body

  4. Picture • In the worst case scenario it can spread throughout the hole body!

  5. Signs and symptones • It mainly and firstly include rash • Later raised fluid filled blisters scars, mainly in face, hand and feet follow • And it may get to a high fever followed by many different symptoms as dryness and etc…

  6. Cause • Caused by two virus variants, Variola Major and Variola Minor. • A very infectious disease can be obtained by the contact with infected people.

  7. Cure • The vaccine would take care of the virus within 3 days • There is also a fluid therapy that is said to also work • Small pox has be abolished from the world

  8. Worst case scenario • If small pox goes untreated, blindness can be a scenario • Limb deformation • And even death can come from smallpox if not treated

  9. Interesting facts • Only humans can get the virus • 30-35% mortality rate without treatment • Spread to the extremities while with chicken pox, it spreads to the center of body:
