2012 - Key projects highlights LLN Hub – an online collaboration space for LLN and VET teachers to access quality resources, case studies and indicator tools which are trialled, validated assessments to support learner literacy and numeracy skills. TAFE NSW Higher Education – online learning platform available for all Institutes to support the consistent delivery of multi-campus higher education courses. Trades & Technology – using technology for trades by providing practical resources, learning sequence templates and exemplars to support beginner teachers new to using technology

Build teacher capability in Learning Analytics, identify and capture good practice case studies. Deliverables Establish a Learning Analytics eCommunity. Identify and capture good practice of current TAFE NSW use of learning analytics. Higher Education – Phase 2 Engage teachers in the use of a range of digital tools for communication, collaboration and eLearning in Higher Education (HE) Deliverables Update and redesign current HE hub in eCommunities Develop case studies and/or ‘movies’ of teachers using digital tools Develop social bookmarking site (or similar) for HE resources Coordinate a pilot collaborative community for HE teachers Investigate incorporating plagiarism software into the HE Moodle Learning Analytics
Build trade teacher capability to use LMS in trades delivery and develop good practice in eLearning design specific to trades. Deliverables Moodle and eLearning engagement model Resource collection for 4 trades areas Collection of good practice examples of eLearning in trades. Self-paced and guided introduction to Moodle for eLearning aimed at Trades teachers. Video recording – demonstration and assessment evidence collection Identify requirements for video recording used in demonstration and assessment and develop video recording guides and techniques.
