  3. What is Intranet? • Web-portal for Enterprise Europe Network staff • http://www.enterprise-europe-network.ec.europa.eu- Member’s corner • Every consortium has access • Each partner per Consortium has access

Purpose of Intranet? • The portal allowsyou to: • Find all relevantdocumentation: guidelines for finacialissues, monitoring, data-base, templates IN ONE PLACE • Searchandmanageyourprofiles (BCD and BBS) • Insert new events, trainings, presentations, fairsandmake it public on EEN official web-site • (PES)

Technical details • EACI IT team sends a notice to each partner via First Class to select a PA • Each partner appoints a PA-Partner Administrator • PA responsible for creating and managing user profiles • Accordning to responsabilities PA enables users to access certain portal areas • After a PA creates an account, the user receives an e-mail from THD with notice to register in 24 h period and change the password (if not the account deactivates) • IMPORTANT!- the first password is Partner’s contractnumber e.g. HR225509-02 • Once registered, it must be changed • Unlike FirstClass, each Partner can have more that 1 User (but 1 PA)

  6. ----- Original Message ----- • Dear partners, • In order to give you access to our intranet and its various applications (BBS, BCD, Events, PES, ...), the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI) will create accounts for "Partner administrators" for each partner (not for the consortium). • These "Partner administrators" will be in charge of creating the user accounts for all staff of the partner and working as local contact to solve IT issues together with the IT helpdesk of the EACI. • Please send the first name, the last name, the telephone number and the email address of your "Partner administrator". Indicate in the title of your message your FirstClass identification or your contract number as well as your country and local reference. The sooner we get your contact details, the sooner you will be connected to BCD and BBS. The information will only be taken into consideration if you send it from your FirstClass account to the address "THD" (which you can do by replying to this message). • IT Team • Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI)

PA/User account • PA account serves only for creating new user accounts and for setting rules for each account • User account serves for searching and managing all Intranet interactive options – data-bases and events • Partner’s PA, if he/she wants to use other options, should create a User account for him/herself

  8. PA/User account (cont.) • If you forget your user name or password- contact your PA • If you do not use the Intranet, your account will after some time deactivate • To reactivate it – contact your PA

  9. Intranet options • Menu: • BBS (AMT-list of registered companies, insert a company; BBS search/manage/downlaod)…. • BCD • Network management: Monitoring, reporting, Finance issues- guidelines, FAQ • Communication: templates- ppt, word, logos…
