  1. The Bike Project Co-op offers a space, tools, and community to repair bikes, share knowledge, hold classes, and advocate for bikes in Urbana-Champaign. Fix your own bike! Build your own bike! Visit our staffed, open shop ours. Try out the tools and repair stands. Get help with a difficult repair. First two trial visits are free. Staffed Hours: SUN 2-5PM, WED 6:30-8:30PM, THUR 6-9PM (Check website for the latest staffed hour updates.) Weekly Classes – Bike Repair and Maintenance Each weekly class covers a different aspect of basic bicycle mechanics (e.g., seats, brakes, chain rings), and provides time for beginner/frequently-asked questions (“How do I change a tire?”) while giving intermediate students extra hands-on training in that week’s topic. SUN 2-4PM. Location: 202 S. Broadway, downtown Urbana, IL IMC / post office building at Elm and B’way Enter via stairwell in south side alley.
