They are stationed at entrances to retail businesses, restaurants, hospitals and office buildings, screening those who enter by asking questions and taking temperatures. They also monitor the number of people entering and exiting so a building wonu2019t reach capacity. In many areas, wearing masks in public is a requirement. Guards are on the lookout for those who try to enter a building mask-less. If someone doesnu2019t have a mask, guards will typically provide one. If an individual refuses to wear a mask, guards will deny entry.
