CPQI Committee Origin and Purpose Established in 2000 to resolve concrete performance issues. Current Objective is to promote quality improvements and use of emerging technologies that can be implemented to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of concrete pavements.

Future Efforts • Developing Intersection Jointing Standards • Based on ACPA publication • CT forthcoming early this year • CPQI Committee to increase speed in addressing specific issues by developing a “parking lot” and issue-driven meetings and actions between Committee meetings
Future Efforts • Monitor/Evaluate US – 119 Concrete Overlay project • Develop Standard for medium thickness concrete overlays (Proposed Section 522)
