What is Interactive Desk?? • The interactive desk is one element of a much bigger picture approach to this research and development looking to redefine what a collaborative learning environment can be. • To create a radically new technology-rich learning environment that integrates with traditional classroom layouts and collective activities. • To design and implement a new form of user interface for educational multi-touch systems. • To formulate a new pedagogy that eases transition and movement between teacher-centric and pupil centric interaction.

  4. Advantage • New desk with multi-touch surface will be control component. • Students will be able to work together at a desk using finger or pen. • The desk will be networked and linked to main smart board offering new opportunities for teaching and collaboration.
