WHO WE ARE • Mission: • Promote cultural and religious engagement for Australian children and young people in OOHC. • Community Volunteer Group • 2007 1st life started • Delivering a partnership between minority communities and CSO’s • 2010 2nd incarnation

HOW WE DO IT • Recruit Volunteers • Connect with CSO’s in certain LGA’s • Gain the support of community leaders • Organise and run collaborative information sessions • Provide CSO’s with cultural training • Engage CSO’s with cultural events
WHAT IS NEXT • Focused Study on the need for such a service • Establish a funding model • Gain reliable data on the minority communities requiring representation • Establish working partnerships with similar CALD support communities
