  2. Instructional Design • Instructional Design is defined as “a systematic process that is employed to develop education and training programs in a consistent and reliable fashion” (Reiser & Dempsey, 2007). In addition, Instructional Design models or theories may be thought of as frameworks for developing modules or lessons that increase and/or enhance the possibility of learning and encourage the engagement of learners so that they learn faster and gain deeper levels of understanding.

It describes how learning occurs. -Instructional Design Model is depicted in little step-by-step rectangular boxes leading to the impression that you complete each one in the order shown. *Instructional Design Theory and learning Theory development are both important.

  4. Instructional Design :. There are many different instructional design models from which to choose Many of these models have common features such: *Needs assessment. *Goal and objective identification. *Audience and setting analysis. *Content and delivery development. *Evaluation and redesign.

  11. Evaluation Evaluate both your product and the process used to create the product.

  12. Why Use Instructional Design ? Design and Development can be messy and chaotic. Minimizing and controlling mess and chaos is why we have models of Instructional Design. In the real world these models seldom hold up. Each instructional designer, each instructional design team develop processes that work for them.
