  2. Definition • Haemolacria is a physical condition that causes a person to produce tears that are partially composed of blood.

  3. Manifestation •  It can manifest as tears that are anything from merely red-tinged to appearing to be entirely made of blood.

  4. Symptom Haemolacria is a symptom of number of diseases such as • Tumour in the lacrimal apparatus • Bacterial conjunctivitis • Environmental damage • Injuries

  5. Acute Haemolacria • Occurs in fertile women • Induced by hormones
