  8. 2010 Economic Trends OK will have a modest recovery in employment as 2010 gains will be tempered. Mining, Manufacturing and Real Estate were the state’s top private industry money makers in 2008. Health Care will begin to emerge as the highest employing private sector. Natural gas prices will strongly affect how quickly OK recovers from recession.
