  1. Zentangle Zentangle is an easy to learn method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns. It is a fascinating new art form that is fun and relaxing. It increases focus and creativity. It encompasses all most all of the Elements and Principles of Design. It is “doodling” with intent.

Objectives/Goals • Discuss and learn the basics of what a Zectangle is and how to create it. • Practice basic Zentangle designs the first day of class on gridded sheet of paper. • Create a Zentangle in black and white on a 12 by 18 sheet of paper. • Create a large scale, more advanced Zentange with either a letter or tessellation in black and white and then incorporate color with colored pencils.
