  4. What do we do? Why are we needed? How is aspiration raised in disadvantaged areas? What skills are beneficial to young people? What have we achieved? 

  5. Our mission The mission is to bring a university education within the reach of young people from the poorest homes. Thereby opening up a world of new life-possibilities and careers to young people who might otherwise never have these opportunities.

  6. Our model The IntoUniversity programme is delivered at local learning centres established at the heart of the communities where our students live. Our users typically come from backgrounds where their likelihood of attaining a university place or a professional career will be very low. Each centre will see 900 ‘unique’ students.

  15. Why we are needed Our parents and siblings may not have experienced higher level study. Parents in immigrant families may not have the language skills or knowledge of the UK education system needed. Many homes are overcrowded with no suitable place for study.
