Workshop 9 - Start Page • From the launcher start Simulation. • Choose “Geometry > From File . . . “ and browse to the file “Lever.x_t”. • When DS starts, close the Template menu by clicking the ‘X’ in the corner of the window. March 29, 2005 Inventory #002216 WS9-3
2 Workshop 9 – Preprocessing • Change the working unit system to metric mm. • “Units > Metric (mm, kg, MPa, C, s)” • Insert the material aluminum from the material library. • Activate the “Engineering Data” application. • Highlight “Materials” and “RMB > Import Material From File” 1 3 March 29, 2005 Inventory #002216 WS9-4
