  1. Lipdub By: Welsey Iobst, Eric Fuhs, A.J. Jones, and Josh Spare

  2. What is a Lipdub? A lipdub is a video that combines lip syching and audio dubbing to make a music video.

  3. What materials are going to be used? • Most importantly creativity to create a song to be played over the PA system • Posters (We want to make as many as possible in the time we have) • Markers to make the posters (We can get these from teachers) • We are going to ask Mrs. Horning to allow us to use school uniforms and the mascot in the video • Video Camera • We are going to ask students involved to wear school T-shirt they have • Computers (Either school or personal laptops) • A video editing program (The school computers have movie maker so we plan to use that program to edit the video) • Microphone for recording the song

  4. What will the students involved be doing? We are going to include all the 8th graders at Plaza. The students involved are going to create the song. Josh and Eric started to create the song so the students have a basis to go off of. Also, the students will need to create posters and someone will dress up as the mascot. We are going to ask people who like to sing to sing the song we create. People who know how to use editing soft wares will help to edit the video after words. Everyone who participates will be apart of the video.

  5. The Route We are going to start the video right outside the commons then walk inside. Once inside we are going to go to the right and then go through the door in the library. We will exit the library by the student exit and go to Kiva II. We will go down the stairs of the Kiva and exit through the door by the stage. Once outside the Kiva, we are going to go into the gym by the girl’s locker room and exit out the door by the guy’s locker room. Then we will go down the hall by our lockers and go through the auditorium door by the band room. We will walk through the auditorium and out the main exit. The video will end once we leave the auditorium. If there aren’t enough people to fill the areas then after the camera has left the library then the library people will go to the gym. In order to fill the hall with the amount of people we will have, once the camera has the left the library, the people in the library will go to the gym. It will be the same for people in the Kiva; once the camera has the left the Kiva they will move to another part of the school.

  6. Work Schedule For the first 45, we are going to create posters and the song. After that we are going to have chorus people sing the song in a microphone to record the song. Then, we are going to shoot the video and play the song over the PA system. The video will be edited at another time.

  7. Budget We are going to buy DVDs and put the video on the DVDs. The cost for 100 DVDs is $22.99 and the price for 50 DVDs is 14.99.

  8. Theme/Legacy The theme of our project is remembrance. It is remembrance because the song is going to include our favorite parts of the three years at Plaza. Also, the poster will include the accomplishments of team like debate who won the city championship three years in a row and soccer winning the championship this year.
