Riverside County Unemployment Rate (not seasonally adjusted) Riverside County’s Jan. unemployment rate returned to its 2009 highs of 15.1%, still above California’s high rate of 13.2%& USA’s 9.5% (USA’s seasonally adjusted was 9.7%). R.C. experienced a double digit unemployment rate for the entire year of 2009. R.C.has not experienced double digit rate of unemployment this large since the early 1990s & has never experienced unemployment in the 100,000 range until 2009.
