  4. Speaker Notes • Used to provide content to the presenter in addition to what is displayed to audience • May be used for examples and elaborations, sources, as well as “stage” directions

  5. Hyperlink • Used to link from a slide to a webpage or other document

  6. Printing • Slides – transparencies • Notes – for speaker • Outline • Handouts – for audience

  7. SmartArt • Used to incorporate a graphical component to your text-based message

  8. SmartArt (continued) • Select a graphic that really supports your message

  9. Tables, Chart, Image, Video • Used to add interest to presentation • Should support the message

  10. Headers & Footers • Consistent text at top or bottom of every slide • Footers are usually more helpful in presentations

  12. Transitions • Used to add interest between slides • Pick only one transition per presentation • Different from animations
