Woody Biomass Overview • No resources directed to forest residue; focus exclusively to short-rotation crops • Only 2 species under development – poplar and willow • Many existing trials grandfathered in to current program • Continue to provide valuable yield data • Represent a significant investment from the past • Improved material available for 2010
