  2. Speed . The average speed the rock goes is 12mph. The rock must have enough speed to reach the other side of the rank this is why you see the people sweeping. .

  3. The force from the curler must hard enough so the rock can travel down the rink. Plus the curler hangs on the for two to three seconds to place the direction the rock goes. Force

  4. The curler and the sweepers must do their job to get to rock get enough speed to get across the 146 feet track. Distance

  5. The sweepers need to speed up the rock to help get to the other side. Also when the rock hits the opponents the person sweeps the rock to keep it in motion. ACCELERATION
