The force from the curler must hard enough so the rock can travel down the rink. Plus the curler hangs on the for two to three seconds to place the direction the rock goes. Force
The curler and the sweepers must do their job to get to rock get enough speed to get across the 146 feet track. Distance
The sweepers need to speed up the rock to help get to the other side. Also when the rock hits the opponents the person sweeps the rock to keep it in motion. ACCELERATION
